Dear Colleague,
Driven by traditional sales market saturation, outsourcing of automotive manufacturing continues with new plants being developed in China, India, Turkey and Russia. This in turn attracts a supplier base, which then becomes a platform for exporting quality parts into mature markets. Meanwhile, the overseas export of finished vehicles from Europe continues to develop albeit at a slower pace.
As a result the demand for automotive transport and logistics services is set to increase.
This year’s conference will trace the latest trends in manufacturing, retail and logistics and continue to provide a valuable forum for the automotive logistics industry worldwide.
The Global Automotive Logistics Conference, which is accompanied by an exhibition, remains the only event that combines inbound and outbound (finished vehicles) logistics.
I look forward to seeing you in Antwerp.
